FunkyPixel Photography is a photography company with a simple, elegant and timeless style. Based in Kent, we cover the vast majority of the County and the borders. I always get asked how we shoot, whether we are an obvious presence or whether we are unobtrusive…the only way I can describe the way we work is that we are Ninja Photographers! We are there to get on with capturing your day, not to cause a disruption or be a nuisance.

Our style is a simple one, and lends itself to a more photojournalistic style mixed with portrait photography. What does this mean I hear you ask. Well it means that although we set up and direct all the “normal” posed photos, like formal family and bride and groom portraits, we try and keep ourselves out of everybodies way and take natural photos of people genuinley enjoying themselves. It means that rather than people smiling nervously at a stranger with a camera, that we are able to capture the true emotion and love that fills your day as people dance the night away and enjoy your special day with you.

With us there is no half measures, we shoot for the whole day. This generally means we will be there from 9 in the morning, right the way round to 10o’clock at night. We have a fine range of equipment, including our range of off camera lighting. This ensures that no matter what the weather, or where the venue is, we are prepared to capture the day in all its beauty.

When you book with us, we like to arrange a “Getting to know you session” or an Engagement Session as its known. We will meet up with you at a venue of your choice and take beautiful photos of the both of you. If you have children you want to bring along with you then please do as it all adds to the experiance! The aim of this session is for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
