One of my absolutely favorite wedding venues in Kent, is the Museum of Kent Life. I’ve shot there so many times now, it almost feels like a second home. The staff are absolutely phenomenal and really make me, as a wedding photographer, feel at home. Jo, the wedding coordinator, is a diamond and I even stood in the queue on black Friday with one of the chefs and talked for hours before being parted with my hard earned cash in the sales.
The Old Wedding Chapel at Kent Life was Originally built in Cuxton in 1897 and moved and rebuilt in Kent Life’s vintage village in 2000. It’s a beautiful little peach colored corrugated church. I love the wee village hall they have up there. It puts me in mind of 1930s war time Britain. If you ever go there, you’ll get what I mean.
Katie got ready just down the road at the Village Hotel in Maidstone. She then jumped on a tractor up to the museum of Kent Life for the rest of the day, and of course I was there as her wedding photographer. Check out the button holes every one wore….LEGO button holes! How awesome is that! I think it’s safe to say Katie and Ed are pretty awesome, and as you’ll see from one of the photos in particular, Katie was super duper serious 😉
Anyway, enough with the talk, bring on the photos!
