During my first talks with Katie, she mentioned that she had her own wedding blog and that initially she hadn’t been thinking of having a photographer and was going to stick to just a videographer. Luckily, Katie changed her mind after our meeting. From seeing all the beautiful details, the meticulous planning, and the real thought that went into the big day, I think it’s safe to say Katie is a fan of bright colorful weddings.
We began the day at Goss Hall, Ash. What looked like a dark dull day actually turned out rather beautifully. Katie and Chris had a huge marquee up in Goss Halls stunning grounds. From what I gather this was the first wedding Goss Hall had hosted and I think it’s fair to say it went well.
We headed off to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Broadstairs, Kent for the wedding. The clouds opened up and we were greeted by beautiful sunshine which stayed with us for the rest of the day. Back at Goss Hall there were some awesome speeches as well as a few props from the Best Man.
One of the highlights of the day had to be the arrival of the ice cream van, which cooled everyone down after what turned out to be a rather warm day.
A big thanks to Skinny Boy Weddings for being great sports on the day, and to Goss Hall for their Hospitality.
So here we are, the ridiculously good looking Katie and Chris’ Wedding. Enjoy
