In a few weeks I’ll be shooting Emma’s wedding. When I met Emma she told me that some of her friends were getting married and she would pass my details on. She was true to her word and her friend Gemma rung me not long afterwards. We met up at her Mums beautiful farm and B&B in the heart of the Kentish countryside in the little town of Benenden. We chatted at length about her plans for her big day, including her Fairytale Princess Wedding Cake. Needless to say, I left the house rather excited about shooting the wedding.

The big day finally came and the weather was stunning, save for a few dark clouds in the sky. I popped down to the village hall to grab some shots of the decor in there and was stunned to find what they had done. They had turned an ordinary village hall into a beautiful reception venue. Gemmas family is clearly a pretty creative bunch and I know her Mum put a lot of hard work into planning the big day. The speeches were quite a high point, with Gemmas Dad showing photos of Gemma, and her now Husband John, as children which certainly raised a few laughs. Not one to be outdone, our stunning bride had even prepared a speech as well.

Anyway, enough chit chat…Ladies and gents, Gemma & Johns big day
