Julie & Pete { Gore Farm – Upchurch }

April 15, 2012

Julie and Pete are 2 of the most amazing and kind people you could ever wish to meet, and their wedding really showed just how much love they have for each other, and their friends and family.

The wedding was held at St Peters Church in Bredhurst, and is a beautiful little place to get married. Unfortunately, near the end of the ceremony the heavens opened up and the rain came thundering down. This didn’t stop them enjoying their wedding with the people that mean the most to them. We got a few breaks in the cloud to go out and have some fun when we moved to the reception at The Barn Yard, Gore Farm in Rainham, and whilst everyone was eating I met a tiny horse… there was a goat too, and despite my best efforts of a Goat Call, the goat would not come forward for a photo.

There are so many photos I love from the wedding that I really found it hard not to post them all! Dealing with the rain and getting these shots was made even easier as I had the awesomely talented Hannah May with me assisting. So without further ado, I give to you Julie and Pete.

A nice intro of prep images, processed well, and a good use of the rain in the last shot. Why waste it eh :)

I would like to firstly apologise for taking so long to comment on these photos, Pete and I couldn't be happier and we are thrilled with the results, we found James on the Internet and took a chance as we didn't know him beforehand, it was one of the best decisions we made in planning for our wedding. We instantly got on great and having James and Hannah May photograph our wedding we felt like they were our guests. We highly recommend FunkyPixel Photography and wish you every success James for the future! With love, Mrs Julie Jury x

Ahh, Julie & Pete. You guys were so much fun to work with, and made us both feel like part of the family. It didnt seem like we were working but spending the day with you and enjoying all the moments too! Cant wait for your album to come through, I have even bought a copy of it myself as your wedding was sooo pretty and you both looked amazing! x

[...] Andrew, they mentioned they were getting married at the same place as one of my previous weddings ( Julie & Pete ) and although they loved my rainy kiss shot, they were hoping for a lovely sunset for some photos. [...]
