I met Tigger and Chelle at Lordswood Leisure Centres Wedding Fair earlier this year. Tig casts an imposing shadow; this burly, tattooed, long haired, beardy guy walking round looking at wedding flowers with intrigue is quite a site to behold. We got chatting, and it turns out he is quite a talented Tattoo Artist, and his future wife to be  is a Paramedic. It’s safe to say, that over the last year Tig and Chelle have become good friends of mine, they even came and helped me get drunk on my 30th Birthday this year! I knew this was going to be an interesting wedding to be the photographer at

The wedding was never going to be a dull affair. With their love of bikes, tattoos, vintage themes and all things quirky. Us wedding vendors work together quite a bit, and you build up a solid network of friends within the industry. Well this wedding was certainly one where we all came together and not only had a laugh, but strengthened friendships amongst us.

The wedding was held at the lovely Upnor Castle in Kent. Sat on the banks of the River Medway, opposite Chatham Dockside, it makes a lovely setting for a wedding. Although it has to be said, it’s a pretty dark venue. Tig and Chelle, had a couple of stunning pick up trucks at the wedding, and we formulated a plan to close off a road and try and pull of a bad ass portrait in the middle of the road with the two cars. Safe to say, I think we pulled it off rather well!

Reception time was held at Lordswood Leisure Centre in Kent. Jim Cattermole, The Kent Toastmaster was leading the day. Although the Sabrage didn’t go to plan, the evenings entertainment was amazing. The Guilford Bucket Drummers played a couple of sets, and even had a drum off with the drummer from the wedding band.
