I first met Joanne through my good friend Sonia Smedley who runs PDE Wedding Decor. I always feel a bit chuffed when another supplier recommends me to their friends, I’m obviously doing something right!

Joanne and Darren got married at Hayne Barn House in Hythe, it’s a venue I had never heard of until they booked me but I have to say it’s a lovely wee place. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful which is always a bonus. I also had the pleasure of working with Dj Harry Kilb who, if you’ve seen Snatch, looks a bit like Brick Top. He got the whole wedding party gee’d up for the celebrations and even got the shoe game going…except with a drill and a hairdryer.

The speeches were hilarious, and the best man talked about how he and the groom had “acquired” a BMX when they were kids and had a friend wheel it out during the speeches, much to the delight of all the guests.

All in all it was a beautiful day and Joanne and Darren were absolutely amazing to work with and so laid back! So anyway, enough chit chat, lets see some photos!
