I rarely shoot over in East Kent, so Cassie and James wedding venue was a new one for me. East Quay, in Whitstable is one of my new favourite wedding venues. Not only is it a beautiful place to spend your wedding day, but the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful too. East Quay is sat right on Whitstables sea front and has some absolutely stunning views in front of it.

Cassie, got ready at a hotel just along the beach from the venue. I managed to hitch a lift with her dad along from the wedding venue to the hotel for bridal preps. I think its fair to say that Cassie was a pretty chilled out bride not just in the morning, but throughout the whole day. After I had finished preps, I took a stroll along the seafront to grab some shots of the venue as I approached it.

The way Cassie and James had decorated the venue was stunning. Flowers all over the place, lovely rustic pieces, all the cakes were made by the family too and looked too good to eat! We had a wonderfully clear sunny day and it really fitted the venue and the day so well.

Anyone who has met this awesome couple, can instantly tell just how in love they are. Their love radiates off of them and its hard not to crack a smile when you see them hanging out together. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about this wedding. James, the groom, works in film and tv as a cameraman among other things.

The entire wedding was held at East Quay, so after the ceremony in the upstairs room, the party moved downstairs to eat, drink and dance the night away. I don’t think anything I can say can really do this wedding justice, so instead let me show you the day!
