I first met Chantelle and Mishka at The Radisson Hotel wedding fair back in 2014, they were looking for a wedding photographer for their Hertfordshire Wedding.

Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club is situated on over 200 acres of lush Hertfordshire parkland. Chantelle and Mishka had their ceremony in the garden court, a lovely orangery that overlooks the gardens.

It was a rather tempestuous day weather wise and we had numerous rain showers throughout the day, however this didn’t stop the girls from having an amazing day with their closest friends and family. The room next to the garden court is where the wedding breakfast took place, the table decor had a real rustic home made feel to it and really complimented the venue. During the downtime, a vintage ice cream stand turned up, it was a fantastic alternative to canapés and really fit in with the the of the day too

I’m a big fan of rain at weddings, not a huge amount, but a little shower always gives you something different to play with. This wedding was no exception, and Hertfordshire threw its absolute worst weather at us. Luckily it didn’t stay for too long and Chantelle and Mischka agreed to go outside for a beautiful rain shot.
