I’ve been meaning to blog this wedding for quite a while, but New Year and new Blogging so let’s do this!

I had the absolutely pleasure of travelling over to the Isle of Wight not too long ago to shoot the backyard wedding of Katie and Dane. The day was all planned out to have a lovely outdoor ceremony on Katies parents land, however the weather Gods were against us and it started to rain. It didn’t phase anyone though and soon enough the entire wedding party were moving things around so that the ceremony could take place inside the marquee that had been put up.

The whole day had a real family feel to it, with guests making decorations and baking cakes. We took a little walk in the woods afterwards to get away from the hub bub of it all and take some cool portraits of the two of them. Luckily enough we had a small patch of sun appear and we got some cracking stuff.

I have to say, I love the Isle of Wight, so if you’re getting married over there do give me a shout I’d love to be part of your day!
