Hannah & Jack – A Harrowden Hall Wedding

What can I say about Hannah and Jack, well first of all I have never known anyone to smile quite as much as these two, especially Hannah. The entire day she had a massive smile on her face, and it was infectious! Hannah got married in Sudborough at her parents house. Just a short walk down the road was the place that they were having their reception. They had set up a marquee in a field just down the road, next to a babbling brook. It was a gorgeous setting and had a real rustic feel about it. Rather than having a load of round tables, they had set it up with super long benches and tables, which is always a great touch as I find people seem to interact with other guests that way.

The wedding itself was at Harrowden Hall in Northamptonshire. Harrowden Hall is also the home of Wellingborough Golf Club and sits in 160 acres of beautifully maintained gardens and golf course. The house itself dates back to the 18th Century. From the outside, in the gardens it kind of reminds me a bit of an old french chateaux. Hannah and Jack got married upstairs in the Vaux room and after the ceremony went outside to have welcome drinks and canapés in the gardens. It was at this point I thought I would hang out of the upstairs windows and get a group shot from up high…however the window I decided to pop my head out of also had a massive bees nest. So I screamed and ran to a different window instead lol. After the wedding it was time to head back to Sudborough for the reception.

To get to the marquee you had to cross a little bridge which, like the rest of the venue, had been decorated with fresh flowers. Everyone lined up along the red carpet to wait for the couple to arrive and as they did everyone through their confetti.   I hear a lot of speeches as a wedding photographer, but the speeches at these guys weddings were fantastic. None of the usual jokes from google, but some real heartfelt stuff with some hilarious anecdotes! As the evening came in and the band began to play, Hannah and Jacks dance floor was full of people and ended the day on a real high note as everyone came out to dance the night away.

Here are some of my highlights from Hannah and Jack Wedding in Northamptonshire.
