This is probably a record time between wedding and blog post for me. Donna and Andrew are going away for their honeymoon and I just cant wait to show these photos off. So I’ve done a super quick edit for the blog post.
We have had the wettest Summer since…forever…well, as long as I have been alive anyway. When I first met Donna and Andrew, they mentioned they were getting married at the same place as one of my previous weddings ( Julie & Pete ) and although they loved my rainy kiss shot, they were hoping for a lovely sunset for some photos. Unfortunately the great British weather didn’t permit this for us, however…instead of letting the horrid storm clouds ruin the photos, we made the most of it and went for some full on dramatic photos in the cornfields. I have heard alot of best man speeches in my time, but I truly have to give a shout out to the Andrews best man. His speech was epic. It was full of laughs, stories about the groom and even paid homage to Donna & Andrews baby boy Harry who tragically passed away. Donna & Andrew chose the date of their wedding as Harrys 1st birthday, to commemorate his life and in some ways have him share in his Mum and Dads special day.
